The 2006-2016 new Grand Vitara Strut Brace is not just for looks, being a unibody construction and the front being coil on strut suspension you get flex in the body of the new Grand Vitara.
The 1998-2005 Grand Vitara comes standerd with a strut brace and suzuki decided not to go with this in the new Grand Vitara which to us was a strange option.
We have found that the strut brace reduces this flex stiffening the body and making it be have better when on road for better cornering.
The brace is a simple add on takeing 5 mins to fit, also giving your engine bay that sport look too!!
